This liquid-cooled engine for PEUGEOT 103 offers more performance and reliability than the air-cooled version. Liquid cooling allows for more advanced ignition timing, a leaner and more explosive air/fuel ratio, and a higher compression ratio. This engine is complete and very well-equipped. This racing version is mounted with flexible components and features a stage 2 prepared cylinder kit, a long-stroke crankshaft, and more. It includes :

-75cc liquid-cooled aluminum kit with cylinder head, 6 transfer ports, MALOSSI twin-ring piston, Stage 2 tuned specifically for long-stroke racing. Port timings 132/192 at a 15.5:1 compression ratio.

-Specific spacer for long stroke crankshaft with long connecting rod

MALOSSI 26/28mm flexible angled intake manifold

MALOSSI VL17 bonded reed valves

- Valve spacer for increased lower engine volume (ideal for this configuration)

POLINI PWK 26mm carburetor

-Reinforced C3 bearings with polyamide cage and POLINI oil seals

RRD reinforced crankshaft, long stroke 42.1mm, long connecting rod

-Crankcase screws, cylinder head screws, studs... High quality

-Specific DOPPLER motor spring

Consider lightening your original clutch shoes for a later engagement (you can install DOPPLER clutch pulley springs to slightly stiffen the engagement). Everything is assembled to the highest standards (squish clearance, cylinder volumes, improved lubrication of the connecting rod big and small ends, etc.), and has been tested. To further enhance this complete engine, you can install an MVT SP3 or an MVT SC G2.

Target power range: 10,000 / 13,500 rpm. MOTUL 800 ROAD 100% synthetic oil is highly recommended, 2.5% (too much oil lowers the octane rating and therefore engine performance, too little risks engine seizure and premature wear).

*Delivered without antiparasitic treatment (LB05EMH or CR4 recommended)

*Supplied without spark plug, B10ES recommended for break-in and adjustments, B10EG recommended after break-in and adjustments!

*Delivered without a variator, the ER3 Doppler is a very good variator.

*Delivered without a belt; you will need to purchase a good quality belt such as the DOPPLER

*Delivered without exhaust; you can pair the engine with an MVT SC G2 or MVT SP3

*If your original 103 is 6V, you will need 12V bulbs and a voltage regulator to work with your MVT DD ignition.
