AIRSAL 70 T6 engine already assembled in 70cc and boosted by a preparation as well as an MVT cylinder head for PEUGEOT 103 SP, MV, MVL, LM, VOGUE...
For quality reasons! We do not sell this engine with the original, budget-type ignition; we require the installation of an MVT PREMIUM or MILLENIUM ignition!
For mounting on PEUGEOT 103 SP, CHRONO, MV, MVL (before 1995), LM... We recommend purchasing this engine spring in addition!
For installation on PEUGEOT 103 VOGUE or MVL models after 1995, we recommend using this engine spring! On this version of the 103, you can also remove the supplied intake manifold from the basket and install a CBE side-exit manifold!
The EVO version of the ECO sport 70cc engine: we've reduced costs as much as possible by integrating CARENZI crankcases, an AIRSAL cylinder and crankshaft, but on this EVO version, we've clearly increased performance with a STAGE 1 preparation, an MVT cylinder head (therefore a cylinder mounted on a spacer), and a 21mm carburetor with a flexible mount!
This engine for PEUGEOT 103 is complete and very well equipped; it includes :
-70cc aluminum air-cooled kit, 6 transfer ports, dual-ring AIRSAL T6 FOX version, tuned! Target port timings 129° / 188°
-Cylinder head Ø46mm MVT inward stud
-Cylinder base shim
-CARENZI crankcases with large valves and integrated support
-Flexible intake pipe
-VL6 MALOSSI reed valves with genuine carbon fiber reeds
POLINI CP 21mm carburetor with flexible mount
-Reinforced C3 bearings with polyamide cage
AIRSAL reinforced crankshaft with solid counterweights
-Crankcase screws, cylinder head screws, studs... High quality
MVT PREMIUM internal rotor ignition with large cone and contact breaker
-Motor supplied without a motor spring; we highly recommend a DOPPLER motor spring! Choose a yellow one because the power of this motor will cause the white one to slip in any case!!!
Everything is assembled to the highest standards (squish clearance, cylinder volumes, improved lubrication of the connecting rod head and foot bearings, etc.), and thoroughly tested. To further enhance this complete engine, you can install the new MVT SP3 exhaust or another model.
In short, it's still evolving but already very efficient! If you want to install a decompression valve, plan to buy one separately as the unit comes with a plug!
Give it a proper 400km break-in period, and gradually increase the power while adjusting your variator to try and make the most of the 9,000 to 10,500 rpm range across the entire rev range. Also, check your carburetor settings. MOTUL 800 ROAD 100% synthetic oil is highly recommended, starting at 3% for break-in and gradually reducing it (from 200km onwards) to 2.5% or even 2% (too much oil lowers the octane rating and therefore engine performance, too little risks engine seizure and premature wear)!
*Delivered without interference suppression, the MALOSSI kit with cable is very good!
*Supplied without spark plug; a B10HS is recommended for break-in, adjustments, and running. We do not recommend iridium spark plugs for this engine with this ignition system.
*You can add a decompressor to your cart to have one on your machine!
*Delivered without a variator, the ER3 Doppler is a very good variator.
*Delivered without a belt; you will need to purchase a good quality belt such as the DOPPLER
*Delivered without motor spring; ideally, use a DOPPLER which we will assemble on the motor.
*Delivered without an exhaust, you can pair the engine with an MVT SP2, especially if you have opted for the STAGE 1 preparation.
*If your original 103 is 6V, you will need 12V bulbs and a voltage regulator to work with your MVT PREMIUM ignition.
