Ideal on small and large configurations, mandatory on well equipped machines here the motor spring adjustable competition DOPPLER ER1, this model is mounted on the Peugeot 103 MVL and VOGUE from 1995 (VOGUE VS2 type with oscillating arm fixed at the rear, not under the tank) with housings POLINI, CARENZI or MAL.OSSI (with incorporated support). Indeed, we were many to have the problem on the SPX / RCX and equivalent, the spring had to be taken on the low engine support, and it was very complicated to adapt a sports spring as soon as we had racing crankcases with built-in support!

The ideal is to exploit the right power speed without being disturbed by the external parameters (blows, weight of the exhaust pot, braking... that make the engine move and thus uncheck the opening / closing of the variation). If your engine offers for example 13cv at 12,500 laps/minute, but it offers 11 to 11,500 laps/minutes and flanges above 13,000, you would have to reach these 12,500 laps throughout the climb of the dimmer.

So you're going to set your variable and spring to make sure you reach this perfect setting. Too hard, your belts will wear off, the power turns into heat calorie, and you may not be able to exploit the full range of the dimmer (especially large beach), too soft.. The dimmer will close very quickly and you will never get to feel the power of your engine or to operate! The perfect ratio can therefore be reached with a perfectly adjusted variator and this spring.

This spring is of very good quality, mounted on semi-bell for a little more freedom, the materials are good and the adjustment range is excellent. The maximum stroke of the spring at least tense is 122mm and at the most tense it is 80mm which is amply sufficient even for a large range. You can also adjust the engine to relax without touching the tension thanks to the front seedling.

*Attention, this model mounts on PEUGEOT 103 MVL with rear arm fastening and 103 VOGUE from 1995 (type VS2, rear arm fastening, does not fit on versions with arm fixed under the tank), but only with housings POLINI or MALOSSI or CARENZI with built-in support!
