*Warning: Assembly without a decompression valve! Decompression valve cannot be installed! Stage 1 cylinder preparation is mandatory in this engine configuration.
Complete liquid-cooled engine delivered assembled and ready to run! We have equipped this engine with original-type crankcases and a reinforced DOPPLER ER1 crankshaft. For intake/carburetion: MALOSSI reed valves with fiber reeds matched to the engine (machining for the reed valves is included), 19mm angled intake manifold for PHBG/CP mounting (you can remove parts from the pack to add other parts to your cart, but leave the screws that have the correct quantity and dimensions).
It is equipped with a POLINI CP 19mm carburetor with a cable starter .
For the ignition, we installed a MORIYAMA electronic ignition system set to 1.3mm BTDC (we use the high-end MORIYAMA system; we refuse to install the entry-level MORIYAMA models, which have significant reliability issues). For the cylinder head, we chose the AIRSAL T6 70 liquid-cooled kit with the AIRSAL cylinder head. The setup is therefore without a decompression valve; we are performing a Stage 1 modification to the cylinder by pushing the exhaust port to the limit of overlap and modifying the cylinder and piston skirts.
The engine is delivered without a spark plug. In the basic configuration, we recommend a B8HS for tuning and break-in, then a BR9HIX. An LB05EMH spark plug cap is also recommended!
Technical advice:
- Engine needs to be broken in for 300km.
- Use 100% synthetic quality oil at 2.5% in SP98 or SP100.
- To be installed with the original motor spring (not supplied) and the original spring paste (supplied).
- To be used with an original or racing CDI unit (not supplied)
- To be fitted with a sports exhaust ( MVT SP2 highly recommended, not supplied).
- Remember to use a good quality belt in good condition! (not supplied)
