The new MVT G3 HYBRID crankcases are THE high-end solution for clean, high-performance hybridization! Designed for competition: no more rough DIY on scooter or moped crankcases: MVT offers a real racing crankcase, developed by its competition department, inspired by vintage GP engines... boosted by modern technologies!

Versatility & Compatibility

Thanks to their intelligent design, the G4 HYBRID crankcases allow you to mount high standard center distance engines of type G3 reference MVT HM40 on PEUGEOT 103 chassis or Racing chassis, type G3 reference MVT HM41 on MBK 51 to have the fixing to the cylinder head, you can also mount the cylinders center distance 52x52mm with skirt Ø55 mm, or the high engines of MINARELLI AM6 or DERBI EURO 3, 4 and 5.

Description RRD - PREPARATION:

For competition machines with PEUGEOT 103, MBK 51 chassis or "OPEN, G3..." type competition chassis

Whether in terms of aesthetics or performance, they are significantly better than cut-off scooter casings!

These crankcases are true competition crankcases fully designed for pure performance!

Their strength will allow them to withstand the highest power without breaking, they have a gas vein, a perfectly designed admission! The use of a cast alloy and not CNC milled avoids deformation problems!

Here is the information needed to build your competition or hybrid engine based on MVT G3 crankcases:

- The crankshaft can be the MVT SC reference VI42 long stroke 43mm connecting rod 90mm or the MVT SC G2B reference VI41 short stroke 39.7mm connecting rod 85mm or even the long stroke 44.8mm connecting rod 90mm reference VI43 but for the latter, the crankcase must be machined to fit it!

These three crankshafts are mounted in the crankcases with standard 6204 bearings and MVT oil seals reference SPIG234. On these crankshafts, you can mount MINARELLI AM6 cone or standard DERBI cone ignition rotors, on the variator side, you can mount large cone competition variators such as MALOSSI MG / MVR, BIDALOT and others.

- The top engine to be installed is a top engine with a center distance of 52X52mm and a maximum cylinder barrel of 55mm (otherwise it is necessary to machine larger)! You can therefore install top engines from MINARELLI AM6 or DERBI EURO 3 on which you will have taken care to plug the water outlet at the bottom of the cylinder (epoxy cold welding or aluminum welding) and on which you will have taken care to drill a side water outlet! Otherwise, you can also install the top engine MVT 50cc COMPETITION G3 reference HM40 (to be installed with the crankshaft MVT G2B VI41). Or, on MBK 51, the top engine MVT G3 HM41 which has a cylinder head with fixing for MBK 51 chassis!

- Ignition, you can mount MINARELLI AM6 / DERBI cone level ignitions on the MVT crankshafts designed for these crankcases, but you will need a custom plate. Otherwise, there is the complete MVT DIGITAL DIRECT DD25 ignition or you can mount a MVT DD from MINARELLI AM6 / DERBI using the PLA17 ignition plate specifically designed for these crankcases.

- Intake, MVT has provided a large 60 X 39mm standard DERBI intake! DERBI reed valves and pipes can therefore be installed!

- Engine mounting, you can use the MVT mounting kits reference RBG3G4 for competition chassis, the MVT support reference RCG2B 103 for mounting on a 103 SPX, RCX, FUN, MVX or CLIP chassis and the RCG2B 51 support for securely mounting the engine springs on MBK 51! On MBK 51, you will have to manage a cylinder head / chassis mounting!

In any case, keep in mind that this type of assembly requires adaptation and work, nothing is really "plug and play" on competition engines!
