Finally a quality clutch pulley at affordable prices on the market! This new pulley, under the €400 bar, was built to offer a good power transmission, even on the largest powers, with the least slippage possible, with a good hold over time.
The clutch pulley DOPPLER Open offers a new technology approach for our sports mopeds. The basic centrifugal jaws are replaced by a set of clutch discs like on big cube motorcycles but 100% automatic like scooters T MAX 500 / 550. This solution offers greater efficiency in addition to being very compact. The go-around is frank and gradual.
The vehicle is started by clicking a pawn; Three slots spread at 120° allow to receive the pawn, thus reducing the distance to travel for starting. The mechanism shall be deactivated automatically by centrifugation after starting the engine. This technical solution allows the freewheel socket to be abandoned in favour of bearing mounting.
This has two advantages::
-The possibility of moving the vehicle stationary in both directions without driving the engine.
-Sail reduction due to play.
It consists of a plate carved in the mass, in a very high quality aluminium. Its silver anodized finish allows it to fight against oxidation. The 12 screws of the pressure tray give uniform support. Their milled heads are naturally conducive to fighting loosening.
Two weight sizes are available: 16.9g and 10g. Be careful, the 16.9gs were mounted on it.
We recommend checking the torque of internal screws before use. A blue loctite screw assembly is recommended. Disassembly / reassembly of the central nut can be done at the debunker!
The outer diameter of the pulley is 21.5cm and the maximum belt dropper is 14.5mm.
