This DELLORTO Ø21mm PHBG DS Racing RED Edition carburetor is a PHBG carburettor revised and corrected by the Italian technicians of the great DELLORTO brand in order to always obtain more performance as well as a simpler and very efficient adjustment. No difference with the Black Edition in terms of parameters and performance, only the look changes with a slightly higher price!
For example, the disassembly of the plug / spring / needle is no longer done by a cover with two screws but by an unscrewable aluminum cap and the nozzle can be disassembled without removing the tank simply thanks to the tank cap! This carburetor is of very good design and quality, specifically designed to guarantee you more performance and simplicity in the minupulation of the latter.
The needle, float, plug ... remain identical to the normal PHBG. The alloy is of better quality, the machining also allows less rebounds of better performances by its micro scoring and shape of grip! We will regret the lack of finishing and polishing on the air filter side.
Clearly, it is an excellent carburettor genuinely well manufactured and designed for simple adjustments, good performance, low consumption all in a racing aesthetic with its bright red color. It is a carburetor widely used in competition, in endurance or on the road thanks to these various possible and simple adjustments, the low price of these parts, its low consumption, the ease of finding repair parts and adjustments, its racing aesthetic. ..
