Excellent reinforced crankshaft, you will notice at first glance the drilled maneton for a lightening of the latter and the large balancing openings on the upper part of the crankshaft (steel head) in order to balance this crankshaft to the maximum with the 70cc pistons heavier than the 50cc. Balancing has been studied dynamically by the team MVT from his decades of experience in 2T engine development. The steels and the rod seem to be very nice bill! Some will criticize the fact that balancing holes are not blocked by a light material in order to increase the masses, thus reducing dead volumes. However, this old myth is wrong! Today we know that 70cc engines, especially on PEUGEOT, do not require a lot of precompression , it can estimate the volume in many cases. We can therefore, on this normal race crankshaft, afford to drill the entire balancing hole without risking weakening or loss of performance! In the end, it is a crankshaft of beautiful invoice, with an excellent value for money!
