The CARENZI crankshaft is a reinforced, balanced, and solid-mass model for Peugeot 103 SPX, RCX, Clip, Spectrum, Fun, and MVX mopeds. It's truly designed to strengthen the bottom end and improve performance. The steels used are mid-range, treated, and well-case-hardened. The dynamic balancing is quite good, even with fairly heavy pistons (70cc kits).

For increased pre-compression, the counterweights are solid with a special coating. The forged connecting rod is mounted on a reinforced crankpin and a significantly enlarged cage with anti-friction shims.

Grease points have been added to the connecting rod's big and small ends for increased reliability. Thanks to its design and quality, this crankshaft can reach a rotational speed of 14,000 rpm!
