The pulleys are milled CNC from aluminum and then anodized. Due to the corners cut cleanly, the pulleys have a perfect and playless fit on the transmission shaft. Unlike conventional pulleys, CNC milled versions offer perfect concentricity thanks to their neat finish. An absolute indispensable, especially for high-speed engines.
What are the benefits of changing the pulley?
As a rule, a smaller pulley gives you more top speed and therefore less acceleration. Conversely, you get decent traction, but with the larger pulley, you reduce the peak speed:
For pulleys between Ø55-60mm, trapezoidal belt L913mm (Piaggio Ciao) & L1075mm (Piaggio SI)
For pulleys between Ø70-80mm, trapezoidal belt L935mm (Piaggio Ciao) & L1090mm (Piaggio SI)
For pulleys between Ø85-95mm, trapezoidal belt L950-960mm (Piaggio Ciao) & L1100mm (Piaggio SI)
