Variator kit with MALOSSI OVER RANGE competition clutch for CIAO with variator! This kit consists of a reinforced belt, a complete sports variator, a complete sports torque corrector and a racing clutch with its bell! Big gain in acceleration, maximum solidity for the prepared engines, breathtaking pick-ups, increase in the range, therefore, in the top speed!

The improvement of the Big Deps engine and the Malossi crankcase, led to a deficit in the transmission of this vehicle, to overcome which the great experience of the Malossi engineers designed a complete Over Range, able to support constantly increasing performance.

This new transmission system exploits the Malossi elements already on sale since last year, adding some innovative details to make the whole system adequate for the enormous powers involved. This new system is centered on the new Fixed Pulley of the corrector of couple whose diameter is larger and whose technological characteristics are completely at the forefront. The larger diameter of this pulley allows for a greater transmission ratio range compared to the original pulley whose outer diameter is slightly smaller.

The Malossi technicians have also taken care of the smallest details in the production of this pulley, using special materials and a type of special thermochemical treatment which ensures very high resistance to wear and abrasion, as well as considerable surface hardness. This new fixed pulley has been made to operate perfectly if coupled to the Malossi torque corrector (Torque Driver), already in production, which has the same diameter as the fixed pulley.

To fully exploit the range of the new torque corrector group and the powers available today on competition vehicles, a new Malossi Special Belt toothed belt has been introduced. Its section is increased and its length has been adapted to ensure maximum efficiency in all operating conditions.

To complete the renewal of the transmission system and to exploit all the technical characteristics of an exceptional character, Malossi has also adapted the Multivar MHR variator, providing it with new tracks for the rollers, a new contrast spring as well as a new hub longer than the previous one and therefore able to combine with a more powerful belt and optimize the ratios. This new variator is the evolution of previous generations, born from the deep experience acquired on competition circuits, and from the Cad-Cam technology available today, which makes it possible to obtain technical results worthy of the highest levels.

The Fly Clutch and the reinforced Malossi Wing Clutch Bell Ø107 clutch bell complete the OVER RANGE system.

Attention: after fitting the Over Range Malossi, it will no longer be possible to start the vehicle by pushing it, it will be necessary to use special starting tools (not included in the kit).

Clutch Ø 107 mm, redesigned with new masses to adapt to the direction of rotation opposite to that normally found on scooters.

The coupling to the Malossi springs makes it possible to operate at a predefined optimum rpm attack point.

Wing Clutch Bell

Reinforced clutch housing with finned cooling ring, perfectly matched to the newly developed high performance Fly Clutch. It is the only common component of the scooter.

Primary gear shaft

We went so far as to modify the primary gear shaft to accommodate a pulley and clutch/bell assembly derived from the world of scooters.

Having become the connecting element between the newly designed components, this shaft has been reinforced by increasing the shaft Ø to 13.5 and is supplied with a nut, an oil seal and a needle shell for assembly.

Attention: to mount the primary shaft included in the kit, it is necessary to have mounted the Malossi primary gears art. 6718630 or 67 7021.
