The SIMONINI racing Black Edition exhaust for Peugeot 103 is a very rare and sought-after exhaust among enthusiasts and those with a taste for nostalgia. It's perfectly suited to the port timings of various torquey 70cc kits, such as the AIRSAL T3 70 and POLINI cast iron 70, thanks to its large, well-designed body. This exhaust delivers its peak performance around 7500 RPM on torquey 70cc engines and around 8500 RPM on 50cc engines! There's no need to install it on high-revving engines!
Its high-quality 1mm sheet metal, formed on an anvil and then fitted together, is hand-welded at SIMONINI in Italy. It has been in existence for about thirty years and has been continuously refined throughout its lifespan to achieve optimal performance. Its silencer is made of riveted oval-shaped aluminum.
It is obviously not road legal. Its sound is relatively melodious and its performance is excellent in terms of both torque and high revs.

You will need a flat gasket and mounting screws if yours are not in perfect condition! Furthermore, installation is strongly recommended with a MALOSSI SILENTPOT or a silent block supplied with the POLINI SP engine springs, or even POLINI engine casings!
Interview :
-We recommend a high-temperature paint job every 5,000 km
-Replace the wool every 4,000 km / 6,000 km. To do this, drill out the rivets, remove the old wool, insert the new wool, and then rivet it in place with new rivets! Use only high-quality ceramic wool!
On some 103s, a small modification may be necessary during assembly!
The varnish, mounting brackets, etc., are obviously of very high quality; however, the finish isn't excellent. The body is truly magnificent and well-shaped, which makes us want to share a few more photos with you.
