Description

The PARMAKIT - RRD 50cc 40mm bore kit is a ZETTA-based period cylinder and piston kit, revised and improved by RRD in 2026 to increase performance on Peugeot BB, 102, RS, CT, etc., while respecting the 50cc displacement limit. To produce small batches of these engines, we remade the molds, representing a significant investment; therefore, the selling price is higher than for mass production. With its high-quality aluminum cylinder and meticulous finish, it offers good performance while remaining within the legal 50cc displacement limit. This isn't a cylinder that needs to reach 10,000 RPM, which is understandable for machines that often lack a variator and therefore require torque at very low RPMs! This is a cylinder that will be able to unleash its full potential between 4,500 and 5,500 rpm with a stock exhaust and between 5,500 and 7,500 rpm with an MVT SP1 exhaust!


This aluminum cylinder features a high-quality Italian Nikasil coating. It has slightly redesigned transfer ports and an oval exhaust port; its ports and overall design are excellent. A top-end engine with a cylinder made in Italy.

The piston is a specific, reinforced, two-ring model of the original type. To lower the price, these are good quality Asian pistons; a VERTEX piston from PEUGEOT 103 can be fitted by even the most meticulous mechanics. The rings are standard cast iron and, above all, will provide plenty of torque and strength with their two-ring design. However, friction is reduced thanks to their thinner profile compared to an original setup.


You can fit a standard or racing 40mm cylinder head with a decompression valve. In short, a very rare part currently on the market for the Peugeot 102. Note that it only fits BB, RS, Rallye, CT, and Peugeot 102 models... It does not fit the Peugeot 102 SP or BB 104, for example. Be sure to carefully examine the photos before purchasing.

As an option, we offer a Stage 1 preparation. This preparation involves modifying the intake and exhaust ports by increasing the port timing and improving the flow, thus increasing the cylinder's performance. An improved piston and skirt are also included in this modification. Please allow a little extra time for this preparation!
