Description

Brake fluid 4 is used in all hydraulic brake and clutch control systems that meet manufacturers' DOT 4 and DOT 3 recommendations. Miscible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 NON SILICONE BASE products.

Boiling points:

- Dry 267°C

- Wet 172°C


The wet boiling point of DOT 4 which is higher than conventional DOT 3 fluids (140°C mini / 284°F mini) allows the product to be used longer. In fact, DOT 3 / DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 brake fluids have the property of absorbing humidity from the air, which lowers their boiling point and therefore braking safety.


The wet boiling point is representative of the state of the fluid after 1 year of use.


Perfectly neutral with joints used in braking systems. Anti corrosion.


USAGE TIPS
Miscible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 NON SILICONE BASE products.
Do not mix with mineral base fluids (LHM) and silicone (DOT 5 silicone base).


Keep the product in its packaging, tightly closed and protected from humidity.
Aggressive chemical with respect to hands, paints and varnishes.
In case of contact with skin, rinse thoroughly.


Oil changes: 12 to 24 months according to manufacturers' recommendations.
