These ATHENA RACING complete valves are intended for minarelli am6 competition engines. They are delivered with two pairs of slat stops, one of which leaves the slats free as much as possible. They are designed for large engine configurations. (they are identical to the BIDALOT or ITALKIT models, only less expensive or delivered with different stops at an additional cost but manufactured in the same factory).
The box is made of alloy covered with top-of-the-range "viton / bonded" rubber so that the slat closure is tight and soft. The 0.40 slats in special "black fiberglass / karbonit" fiber are very rigid and are linked in pairs, these slats erase the harmful vibrations of the admission and allow a much later entry into the resonance frequency, which allows harness full power well in the revs on the kits. We regret all the same that it is delivered without diffusers (venturi) but the machining is really very clean and the part is top of the range.
We really prefer the solidity of this aluminum box to abs/plastic boxes which many people complain about leaks, deformations,... It is delivered with valve seal on the housing side.
