These valves are the improved version of the VL15 valves, these VL18 have an aluminum base covered with more worked viton in order to absorb the closing of the slats and to make the closed admission more watertight. They are reviewed and corrected at other levels by MHR. Valves that we recommend for a carburation of 17.5 to 28mm, they are excellent on small, medium and large configuration.
They are delivered with single 0.23mm carbon slats. You can buy a separate set of slats of all thicknesses to make better settings (namely that the engine that speaks at low speeds (torquey) will accept thinner slats and the engines that speak at very high speeds will require very high speed slats. rigid (like 0.40mm). These valves are delivered with a diffuser (venturi) to better direct the gases, do not make the mistake of removing it! This diffuser brings you performance. The ideal is to align your pipe to this diffuser.
