The shock absorber is particularly interesting. It is screwed and facilitates the change of the primary pinion. Its function is even more important for sustainable transmission. First, springs and gears can work with less friction, second, springs have a greater displacement and are harder than the originals. Thus, the damping of bumps does not stop so quickly.
This reduces the risk of force peaks transmitted to the gear.
In some cases, the crankcase must be machined.
