Here's the first flat throttle body cap that won't cut into the throttle cables for the POLINI CP carburetor! This small 3D-printed part allows you to lower the cable elbow thread position as much as possible, significantly reducing the overall height. This is a well-known problem on all Peugeot 103 mopeds with original crankcases, which don't allow for the installation of an angled intake manifold.
Although this part is 3D printed, we carried out a battery of tests on a Peugeot 103 Vogue equipped with a 70cc Polini Radial cast iron kit, a configuration that sometimes reaches up to 160°C at the cylinder head! Despite intensive use in all weather conditions, no cable showed any signs of fatigue.
Warning: on AV7 (Motobécane) engines with rigid mounting or on certain advanced configurations, heat can be reflected into the carburetor and may damage the part.
A little tip: if your carburetor is still hitting the frame a bit, you can tilt it very slightly by rotating it around the intake manifold. This will gain you a few millimeters, but be careful not to overdo it so as not to disrupt the float's operation!

Assembly tip: a bead of sealant and two small washers on the lid screws are a good idea to make the whole thing more reliable!
