Here is the DOPPLER needle cage, it is a truly specific product and quite unusual, indeed DOPPLER is the only manufacturer to still offer needle cages with specific clearances. This cage is of very high quality, ultra reinforced and with improved lubrication. Size Ø10mm by Ø14mm by length 13mm.

The Clearance must be selected according to the forcing on the piston pin but also according to the engine speed! Generally, with the example of a crankshaft bearing, we will take a cage with very little play for an engine which takes low revs because it does not require big freedom! However, on a very high rev engine , if the cage has very little play, at very high speed it may enter into seizing / overheating phenomenon and risk of yielding in addition to slightly restricting the engine speed.
