The 4-piston brake caliper is machined from a single block and is made of hard-anodized aerodynamic aluminum.
The development of the 4-piston brake caliper has multiple advantages: first of all it allows
to have 30% more friction surface on the brake pads. This allows for a reduction in
temperature peaks and, therefore, greater durability and reliability compared to calipers
standards.
Thanks to the 4 pistons ø 24, an increase in braking force is obtained.
The design of the stirrup has been studied to maximize its rigidity and minimize its bulk.
Possibility of mounting on the right or left, by reversing the connection with the purge, both at the front and at the
rear. Radial fixing with 8 mm screws, hole spacing 84 mm.
The Polini brake caliper is offered with sintered pads, but pads made of
carbon-ceramic are also available for sale.
Thanks to a dedicated support made by Polini, the brake caliper is adaptable to the Piaggio Zip SP fork.
The caliper can be connected to the new Polini brake pumps and levers pulled from a single block in
hard anodized aerodynamic aluminum with the appropriate aircraft braided hose with 8mm fitting.
The lever position can be adjusted according to the driver's needs.
