During construction, we considered and resolved all potential problems that could arise during assembly and use. For example, one of the support studs has a groove to prevent interference with the drive belt that could occur on some models, such as the "SI", due to differences in the motor housing.
In addition, the support plate has many holes and slots to fit any type of chassis and it is also possible to make additional holes for special applications.

What does the Malossi pull-start kit for Piaggio mopeds include?
The 4mm steel support plate, laser cut, powder coated in black and bearing the Malossi logo.
The toothed sector is machined from a solid piece of steel; it screws onto the crankshaft and engages with the gear on the retaining cord. It is available in two versions: M8, supplied in the kit, or M10 (ref. 1719906B), which can be purchased separately. You can choose the one that suits your needs depending on the thread size of the crankshaft you are using.
The studs are manufactured in such a way as not to interfere with other engine or transmission parts.
