The anti-detonation thermal clutch bells are equipped with a reinforcing ring with fins to dissipate the heat which develops especially during starts from a standstill and when the vehicle accelerates from low speed.

We must not neglect the fact that the reinforcing ring with the fins is even an anti-detonation element because it has been designed to withstand the high rpm imposed by sporty driving, especially if the engine has been developed, considering that the Centrifugal force increases squared with increasing revolutions.
