Pencil, PILOT paint pen for tires, white color

Very practical for coloring the brands, models and indications of tires, here is the pen. PILOT brand (very well known in all trade) marketed by CGN. It can also be used during your mechanics. Obviously it is not infinite but will be used for many applications!



Here are some tips to improve the resistance over time:

1- inflate your tire as it should! (this avoids dilation after applying the paint, if you paint the deflated tire, once you inflate it, the dilation can crack and modify the behavior of the paint).

2- before painting, disassemble the rim! Clean it with a sponge and washing up liquid for example / lukewarm water.

3- lay the rim flat, provide good light and a temperature between 18 and 25 ° C.

4- Take a cloth slightly moistened with acetone and pass it over the mark that you are going to paint, this will allow degreasing but also to remove the layer of cooked rubber.

5- shake and mix the pencil well for 1 minute (while the acetone evaporates), take 2 or 3 times the lead on a paper. Color the paper a little to moisten the look of the product.

You just have to apply yourself.
