If the e-bike lights are not on, the SpeedBox 1.3 for Shimano is still active. You can drive at unlimited speed. As soon as the LIGHT button is pressed, the SpeedBox 1.3 deactivates. If the red plug is not connected during installation, the module works independently of the light and is always activated. If the e-bike has no lights, the SpeedBox 1.3 is also always active.
Warning: The SpeedBox 1.3 is not compatible with the SpeedBox application. It is also not compatible with the Giant Revolt E+ from 2022.
Assembly and disassembly
Only the original connectors are used so that the installation remains as simple as possible and that all the connections are correct. Removing the module is as easy as installing it. Note: If the tuning module is installed on a brand new e-bike, you must have ridden the bike at least one kilometer before.
