If your old caliper is in poor condition, do not hesitate to change it, it should be remembered that it is an element of the braking system and therefore vital for your safety on two wheels. Be careful that there is no brake fluid that has leaked, it tends to attack the paint and will make braking ineffective if it gets on the pads!
