The Spanish brand of sports and competition parts

METRAKIT was founded in the 1970s. The product range expanded around 1975 with several different brand names. In the 2000s, MRD (METRAKIT RACING DIVISION), PRO RACE (a range of competition exhausts and top-end components), and SP SERIES (sport parts) were well-known.

Acquired by the Italian brand ATHENA around 2020, then taken over again by the Spanish company around 2024, METRAKIT, the Spanish brand of competition motorcycle and sport/competition parts for scooters, motorcycles, mopeds... is once again being distributed!

In the years 2000/2015, this brand was known for its excellent PRO RACE range with gold cylinder heads, its exhausts with KEVLAR silencers, and for its excellent racing motorcycles!

METRAKIT motorcycle:

A world speed record was set by Americans on a machine with a MINARELLI AM6 engine equipped with a METRAKIT PRORACE 50 cylinder kit, both with and without a turbocharger; this was the BUDFAB 50.
