The carburettor PHBG, PHBG racing, PHVB, PHBD and other models are equipped with the W needle, in order to help you in your adjustments and to allow you more precision we have all the W needles. Refer to the table below below to find the needle you are looking for then select the desired needle(s) at the bottom.

The carburettor needle is here in W (that's the type). On the bushel, it is used to adjust the flow and many other things, of course it is adjusted via the clips but also by changing it. It will be used to fine-tune the settings really precisely and make you gain longevity / recovery and power. However, it is necessary to know the settings well to carry out this kind of operation.
