Here is the complete 125cc cylinder / piston kit from the great ITALKIT Competition brand for 125cc 2-stroke ROTAX 123 engine, aprilia RS, AF1, EUROPA, PEGASO, ... and other models. This very well improved original type kit from ITALKIT offers a real gain in power compared to the original and preserves very good solidity, a diameter of 54mm for the VERTEX piston is an original displacement of 125cc.
The cylinder is therefore an aluminum model with a well-designed architecture and channels. With specific intake transfers really well designed and a large valve exhaust, oval / widened shape. The valve exhaust system is identical to the original, the valve is not supplied with this cylinder, it you will therefore have to take back the original part.
The aluminum alloys used are excellent and will guarantee increased reliability and strength of your engine, provided they are fitted perfectly and without burrs. This cylinder is accompanied by a top-of-the-range VERTEX piston with specific heat treatment. Its 2 thin segments of thickness will favor the clear recoveries, the rise in speed but without neglecting the speed at high speeds in view of their finesse.
Thanks to the treatment, its shapes and its composition, this piston has been very well designed and studied in order to offer better thermal expansion, at the same time agreeing perfectly with this cylinder to withstand frank revisions, sudden changes of regimes. and prolonged use.
Obviously delivered complete as presented (non-contractual photo), you will be as surprised as we have been on this material which guarantees extreme reliability and performance largely at the rendezvous.
We recommend it with at least : a relaxation exhaust, a minimum 30mm carburetion (flat bushel will be perfect), original cylinder head. If your engine is prepared, or still old, we will recommend changing the crankshaft, in passing do not hesitate to install a reinforced connecting rod kit. A set of rigid carbon valve slats will also be welcome in order to exploit the good speeds.
This model 123 (unlike the 122) normally needs a modification to the location of the valve to install a pneumatic valve, but the cylinder being an ITALKIT, the hole is already drilled! There is therefore no modification to be made to install a pneumatic valve!
As an option we offer you a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels (intake faults) and the exhaust port by increasing the diagram and improving the duct, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement to the piston and the bottom of the skirt is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
