Malossi is proud to present to its audience the complete renaissance of a true legend, one of the oldest and most successful projects related to our brand: the new and incredible cylinder for Vespa ET3 125. This time totally in aluminum.
The history of this high engine starts in 1982 when, for the first time, in a cast iron cylinder with this segment, an O-ring was used as a joint between cylinder head and cylinder, a refined solution that still represents the 'state of the art.
Malossi took a white paper to rewrite his project, studying it again from the roots, innovating and presenting to the public a cylinder that enters directly into the glorious family of high MHR engines.
The aluminum has replaced the cast iron and the seat of the valve has been completely revised, a real revolution able to solve the deficiencies of the original Vespa intake already from 1982 and now equipped with a bar to guarantee a greater stability to the piston ring.
The engine capacity increases to 130 cc while the 6 transfers are the result of the know-how and the technology gained during decades of competitions in the world of the scooter and applied for the first time to a Vespa cylinder capable of reaching very high power. high and speeds up to 11,000 revolutions.
Even the muffler has been completely re-sprayed and now features a booster-equipped layout, a racing solution that guarantees a wider exhaust exhaust surface by reducing the work of the segments.
The Malossi philosophy is still to provide a complete and powerful "plug and play" kit. So it could not miss the total renewal of the specific valve box for this thermal group (codice = 2016319 - only for VESPA ET3 PRIMAVERA).
Consistent studies and simulations on the dynamics of the fluids realized by sophisticated software made it possible to connect perfectly the pipes by obtaining a quite straight kit able to guarantee the best passage of the carburettor to the admission, while remaining in the hull of the Vespa.
The axis piston of Ø15mm is also new, made expressly for this cylinder, now super lightweight, single segment and high performance.
In option we offer a stage 1 preparation, this preparation is a modification of the channels and the exhaust light by increasing the diagrams and improving the pipe, it increases the performance of the cylinder. An improvement of the piston and skirt stocking is also included in this modification. Allow a little extra time for this preparation!
