Description

Here is the new MALOSSI MHR TEAM 2 ignition. Variable advance, modification of the advance and the curve with ease, this is the most efficient competition ignition available on the market!

The MHR Team II ignition is an absolute novelty !!!

It is able to manage several curves at the same time without having to resort to any keys, by a simple click. Allows you to move the selected curve by moving the OFFSET (+ or - 2 °).

The new Malossi ignitions are a concentrate of the highest technologies implemented in scooter competitions. The new internal rotor ignitions have been designed to solve the problem of the technical limits of the original ignition groups: in fact, above 10,000 rpm, these are not able to ensure the necessary stability. in terms of performance, posing major problems in the development of competition machinery, which are sometimes insurmountable.

We have made the electronic box even more immune to interference by developing a microprocessor based on uP STM8 - 8 bits with a calculation capacity greater than 20 MIPS: this in order to guarantee a precision of sparks clearly superior to the previous version!

The MHR Team II range is equipped with a non-remapable variable advance electronic box with 3 trimmers:

the first (MAPS) to determine the advance curve selection
the second (OFFSET) is used to move the selected curve + or - 2 °
the third (LIM), indicated more particularly for 4-stroke engines, allows to vary the intervention of the rev limiter (from 11,500 to 14,300 rpm + limiter excluded)

In addition, it is equipped with 8 pre-installed curves which stand out in:

1 for 4T variable advance motors
6 for 2T motors with variable advance
1 with fixed advance

We have also reviewed the other fundamental components like the high voltage coil, which is now able to provide a maximum discharge voltage> 40 KV for normal engine RPMs of> 3000 RPM and an extraordinary rise time at @ 10bar > 1750 V / uS.

One of the most important novelties is the new rotor-stator group, whose static component has been completely redesigned under the mechanical and electronic profile!

In the assembly instruction, all the graphs are provided in order to be able to adjust the advances of the different motors as well as possible.

Electrical efficiency improved by 20%. Reduced minimum starting speed from 450 rpm to 370 rpm.
The effects of this last change are reflected in an increase in the voltage supplied to the spark plug, at parity of rotation speed, of significant importance compared to the previous model.
