The TOP PERFORMANCES RACING TPR primary transmission is designed for the minarelli engine with 50cc gearbox (or equipped with 80cc), it is very complete and it allows a lot of positive things to the minarelli am6 engines. This transmission will play on several parameters to increase performance. It will reduce the transmission (more acceleration but less top speed) but you can of course make up for this loss of top speed by modifying the final transmission. In any case, we recommend this primary transmission with an extended TOP PERFORMANCES 6th gear. TOP PERFORMANCES has decided to reduce the transmission towards the acceleration because this avoids having a large moving weight, indeed it is better to increase the final transmission (which lowers the moving weight thanks to a smaller crown) and reduce the primary (which also lowers the weight in motion). In short, these gears allow you to lower the weight in motion which is also immersed in oil, a very important parameter to improve performance and gear changes.



This pinion has gone into straight teeth, the original teeth are helical, this shape certainly allows a reduction in noise but also brings a loss of performance! TOP PERFORMANCES has therefore decided to install straight teeth, the latter allows the maximum effort to be transmitted with the least possible loss! The only fault is that this type of gearing is a little noisier… On our am6 engines, the transmission being enclosed in the casings and in an oil bath, this is not important. Top performances has also brought a specific shape to its sprockets in order to once again reduce weight! The teeth are also of specific shape, and the material is even more upscale than the original. TOP PERFORMANCES riveted on the large pinion a bell of original shape but reinforced! This bell is tempered and of a special alloy! In addition, this transmission is needle cage mounted for freer idling, healthier responses, faster and smoother shifts, and this transmission comes complete! With special reinforced clutch for high power, high torque, screws, etc.
