Carburettor DELLORTO VHST 24 BS flexible choke lever without separate lubrication or depression

Here is the carburettor DELLORTO VHST 24 BS, little brother of the racing version of the VHST flat bushel of red color! Configured to be efficient, it is a model intended and adjusted for a 2-stroke scooter engine, flexible mounting with choke lever, without separate lubrication or vacuum connection and socket for antifreeze circuit.



Obviously, this is not a replica but a real carburetor from the Italian house DELLORTO. This version is configured with a HE265 needle well, a main jet of 128, a choke jet of S42, an idle jet 60, a needle in D48. With this basic configuration, this carburetor is clearly intended for racing configurations with good diagrams and requiring more meticulous adjustments.



The fixing at the level of the pipe is in Ø36mm diameter with machined anti-slip lip, moreover the fixing for air filter remains in Ø49mm. The finish is obviously perfect at all levels on these models and the photos are there to prove it!



Carburetors with a round bushel are easier to adjust over the entire speed range, for example from 4,000 to 16,000 rpm. The flat bushels generally used on the motocross, offer more engine response (the engine responds faster to the opening of the valve), there are also special flat bushel versions suitable for competition, track, and high revs ...



We note that a bushel round is the best choice for riding every day with simple adjustment, low consumption, excellent performance at high revs, very good stability (although fashion is oriented to low bushels flat ranges ...) . In addition, we generally recommend a flat bushel on cylinder with bar exhaust while the round bushel would lend itself better to cylinders with booster or oval exhaust.
