Description

For premium MVT ignition PREM 02 (Peugeot 103 breaker), PREM 03 (Peugeot 103 electronic), PREM 08 (Peugeot scooter) and MVT DIGITAL DIRECT DD02 (Peugeot 103 breaker), DD03 (Peugeot 103 electronic) and DD08 (Peugeot scooter) ignition .

Here is a very practical little box, it was invented a few years ago by Mr. Alain GAUDOU (former boss of AGP and now boss of MVT ignition). This box will allow you many wonders :

1-This box improves and increases the variation (more variable curve).

2-This box will offer you the choice between 3 different ignition curves.

3-This box will allow you to adjust the advance and this without disassembly.

 

Clearly, this unit will increase the variation of the ignition, the number of degrees of offset according to the revolutions minutes, the ignition will obviously be much more efficient. Namely, an ignition curve represents the variation according to the number of revolutions per minute. For example, a torquey engine will at best require a fairly low and torquey curve while a very powerful engine at high speed will require a very pronounced curve. Here you can select the desired curve, 3 curves are available to you, to modify & select it, you just need to enter a combination of numbers (instructions and combinations of numbers supplied with the part). Finally, once the curve has been selected, you can modify the ignition advance (the famous ignition timing). No need for a setting rod and tool to modify. Only a combination of numbers! For example, here is the list of combinations and their actions on ignition:

Start by setting your MVT Premium or Digital Direct ignition to 1.5mm before top dead center (TDC). Take care to check your carburetion on each test!

 

Code 000000 = MVT curve 1 and + 3 ° in advance

Code 100000 = MVT curve 1 and + 2 ° in advance

Code 110000 = MVT curve 1 and + 1 ° in advance

Code 111000 = MVT curve 1 and + 0 ° advance (advance like MVT Premium or Digital Direct originally)

Code 111100 = MVT curve 1 and -1 ° in advance

Code 011100 = MVT curve 1 and -2 ° in advance

Code 001100 = MVT curve 3 and + 3 ° in advance

Code 000100 = MVT curve 3 and + 2 ° in advance

Code 001000 = MVT curve 3 and + 1 ° in advance

Code 010000 = MVT 3 curve and + 0 ° advance (advance like MVT Premium or Digital Direct originally)

Code 011000 = MVT 3 curve and -1 ° advance

Code 010100 = MVT curve 3 and -2 ° in advance

Code 110100 = MVT curve 4 and + 3 ° in advance

Code 111110 = MVT curve 4 and + 2 ° in advance

Code 110110 = MVT curve 4 and + 1 ° in advance

Code 010010 = MVT curve 4 and + 0 ° advance (advance like MVT Premium or Digital Direct originally)

Code 110010 = MVT curve 4 and -1 ° advance

Code 100010 = MVT curve 4 and -2 ° in advance

Once you have selected the correct advance curve for your engine, be sure to recheck your carburetor! This small box will bring even more performance to your engine, if you are well tuned, the gain is impressive.
